Welcome note from the Headteacher

A warm welcome to our school community!

It is a real privilege to serve as the Headteacher of our vibrant and nurturing school. At Msingi Imara, we train and educate children in a holistic, Christ-centered environment, where each learner is recognized as unique, full of potential and purpose.

As outlined in our vision, mission, and core values, we work closely with families to help each learner grow spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially. Our goal is to provide a foundation that enables them to fully express their God-given talents and abilities, thereby contribute positively to the world for the glory of God.

To achieve this, we offer excellent programs and have dedicated staff. Our curriculum is fully aligned with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), both in and out of the classroom. We also offer extracurricular activities such as chess, skating, music, and swimming, along with sports days and school trips. Our learners receive balanced and nutritious meals. We have a vibrant chaplaincy department, guiding and counseling, and academic days. Our staff are thoroughly vetted before joining our team and receive regular relevant training. We actively encourage and support parental involvement in all relevant aspects of the school life, providing various avenues for parents and guardians to follow their children’s progress and wellbeing. Together, these and others support the holistic growth and well-being of each child.

I invite you to explore our website to learn more about our school community and the many opportunities we offer our pupils to grow, learn, and thrive. If you have any questions or would like to visit us in person, please do not hesitate to get in touch—we would be delighted to have you.

Genesis

Story of school founding

Msingi Imara Christian School was born out of a vision to create a place where children could grow both academically and spiritually, rooted in the love and truth of Jesus Christ. In 2016, the Directors established a Christian school that would serve as a light in the community and a nurturing environment for future generations. Starting with just a handful of students and a deep trust in God’s provision, the school quickly became known for its strong sense of faith, family, and excellence in education. Today, we continue to build on that foundation, guided by the same mission and heart that inspired our beginning.

Strength

Leadership

Our leadership team is dedicated to creating an environment where academic excellence and Christian values go hand in hand. Led by the directors, the leadership team is composed of experienced educators and administrators who are passionate about guiding students and staff towards growth and success. With a shared commitment to nurturing both the hearts and minds of our students, our leaders work closely with teachers, parents, and the community to ensure that our school remains a place of inspiration, encouragement, and integrity.
